This is really beautiful. Thank you for sharing it.
@Father Brown I am fascinated and delighted by this response! WHAT indeed.
@Onymous I just added it to my Netflix queue, so you're one step ahead of me!
@frenz.lo oh goodness, you just inspired me to check the expiration date of a focus group gift card I had (What if we were in the same focus group?!?!) and It expires at the end of this month! I've still got like $60 bucks, so I may be heading to Sephora too!
@adorable-eggplant I made it three days in my Drynuary journey :/ BUT I revised it to allow myself to have one drinking night a week, since my biggest issue is overdoing casual weekday boozing, and I have been going strong (6 days?)on that! Ya win some, ya lose some....
@I'm Right on Top of that, Rose Agreed! I haven't watched the show in years, but tuned in last night and it alternated from being weirdly lighthearted to incredibly sad. I thought Finn's mom was definitely the most poignant part, but other than the songs the rest of it felt very.... weird, is really the best word for it.
Too timely. TOO TIMELY
I'm pretty sure my two big summer books were weird off-brand books because nobody else has ever heard of them.
One was called Among the Dolls and was about a girl who was shrunk down to live with a dysfunctional family of creepy dolls, and the other was Stonewords, which was about.... ghosts? I can't remember a ton of details beyond ghosts and a secret room to another time...
@Phlomis Oooh welcome!! I work in Burbank and live in North Hollywood and I really like it! I have found that the rent is a little lower in NoHo than Burbank/Glendale and I can walk to the Metro and the Noho Arts District, which has lots of theaters and restaurants and fun stuff. Studio City and Sherman Oaks can also be affordable and have lots of fun stuff to do.
ETA: I used padmapper.com to apartment search and i had a lot of luck on there!
