On Into the Gray

i've had grey hair since i was six. so it's just a thing with me. i dyed it once because my mom thought i should. that was lame. then i dyed it pink (i so appreciate the fact that i don't need to bleach anything to get pink streaks in my hair!) and that was awesome.

now i'm too lazy to do anything to it.

On The First Time I Heard the Term "Helicopter Parents"

@PistolPackinMama i did that for three years in high school, and i have to say it was the best job ever. they didn't really keep much track of my hours and i got unlimited free diet coke and seltzer. plus there were usually gift baskets during the holidays that i raided like a viking. and it was $10/hour under the table!

don't rule it out, just be careful?

On The First Time I Heard the Term "Helicopter Parents"

my entire body was screaming in horror at this guy. i'm so glad you burned-without-tanning instead.

On Lingerers, Admirers, and Silent Girl

@JessicaLovejoy i have a similar problem to LW1, except there's no reason barring my group to exclude this girl and she's pretty clueless that we dislike her. are we supposed to tell her we're cutting her out? is hitting ignore on her facebook messages low? not sure here.

On Beauty Q&A: Too Many Choices

LW3: Bioderma Crealine! (aka Sensibio sometimes)

it seems like it's pricy, but it lasts for so freaking long, that it works out in the long run. i've been on the same bottle since AUGUST and i'll probably be well into the summer before i run out. it looks like water and it's super gentle. basically, i just throw some on cotton pads and put them on my eyes spa-cucumber-style for a minute. everything will melt right off and whatever doesn't, you can wipe off.

On Fantasies, Expiration Dates, and the Vasectomy

LW3: My parents have been happily married my entire life and then some, but my dad doesn't ever seem to wear his ring. Maybe if he has to be in Public, at a wedding or large function. It's not an issue, since he's retired, at home all day and a huge dork anyway. I think it's just hard to tell on this one.

Actually, come to think of it, both my parents are kind of loose with their rings. My mom will swap it out for random rings she buys for herself, and only have the wedding band/engagement ring set on for Important Events.
