Girls sort of bored me, so I never got past the first few episodes. But I need to jump on this Good Wife bandwagon, likerightnow. Signed, A 33-year-old who doesn't feel quite like a grown-ass woman just yet.
@thisisunclear Same. Here.
Welp, now I'm kind of in love with Gaby Hoffman. And Devon Sawa! My mid-teens were all about Devon Sawa. I had to look him up on IMDB - he is currently on Nikita (a show I do not watch, but maybe I should?) and is still looking very, very fine. Ahem.
Aaaaaaand I'm off to Netflix Now & Then.
"Not much"? "Not much"??? Someone please tell me who I am! If my choice of purse won't do it, perhaps we can talk about the lipstick colors I hoard in the bottom of my makeup drawer? Please??
Oh I SO want to go to Salem in the fall, least of all because we don't really get "fall" in Texas (it's going to be 90 degrees today! On October 22! What the F!). But most of all because WITCHES AND GRAVEYARDS AND PIRATES. I mean, really.
Oh I love her. I read her blog and I'm all whyyyyyyy can't I write as well as she does?
I totally Googled "aprochrophyl" hoping I'd learn a new word today...but I'm pretty sure it's meant to be apocryphal. And a sweet little burn to the Bush family.
Aaaaaaand I'm crying at work. Wow. This was just...wow.
@hurts @yourstruly Ohhhh ladies, I just want to hug you both. I understand how you feel. I just want you to know that you're not alone in feeling that way, and there ARE good guys out there who will like you for you. What are some things you like to do? Could you join some local groups/teams/organizations/whatever in line with your interests, and maybe meet some like-minded dudes that way? Because being interested and involved in stuff is pretty attractive, and maybe it'll help boost your confidence a little (plus, you and the dude(s) will have something in common = stuff to talk about!).
Also, I want to ditto what @Lyesmith said!
@wallsdonotfall Hmmm your Tupperware leaks? It shouldn't leak! Maybe get some better Tupperware to eliminate this barrier to bringing your own lunch? Also, I like to make simple sandwiches - turkey and pesto on grainy wheat bread (or hummus if you're veggie!), even just pb & j (nostalgia for childhood!). I also like @KatnotCat's suggestion of bringing a bunch of small things to keep in the fridge. Also, Amy's frozen meals. I like to eat those when I'm too lazy to make stuff.
