@MissChanandlerBong Yep, totally! Sorry, I'm no help at all.
There's a preteen or early teens protagonist. She likes baseball? And in one scene she goes to Woolworths and tries on a Merry Widow, which cuts her beloved locket in half? Blah, blah, other stuff too, probably, but naturally the lingerie scene is what stuck.
@MissChanandlerBong I've got no titles, but that first scene is in my head with super strong visuals, so I feel like it was a movie... Is that possible?
@LeafySeaDragon And now I'm thinking of Sirius Black's family tree with all the basted-off branches.
@Steph I used to be a huge Chacos girl. Lived in them exclusively for over a decade of summers. This summer I felt like I wanted something slightly less bulky, and I got Teva Zirras. I don't think they'll be with me for a decade, but they are lighter and more delicate looking. I love them!
@wee_ramekin Older dogs, especially ones who have had a bit of a rough go of it, can be So Appreciative. We had a Golden we raised from a pup and a mutt we rescued as an adult. The Golden was like, "where are my kibbles? I guess you guys are cool though." Our mutt knew what it was like out there, and he continues to thank us daily for saving him from it all with annoying amounts of kisses ten years later.
@Nicole Cliffe How many times did I shout this? So many times! And hating Nelly was like a formative emotion of my childhood. If that was taken away, I'm not sure what would be left of me.
@yeah-elle I loved 90s rock, but Really Loved 90s ladyrock: Garbage, Hole, Veruca Salt, BELLY, The Breeders, Luscious Jackson.... Of course, all of my CDs were stolen at some point in the early 00s, so, to Pandora!
I did a LOT of drunken backpacking in my day, and all I'll say is that a sixer is not really that heavy. I packed 12 in for a two nighter once. Just don't bring bottles, and think of how light your pack will be on the way down! Can trash weighs very little.
@piggie Also, the National Abilities Center. They get kids like my friend's daughter out on skis and horses and help them have thrilling life experiences, in addition to physical therapy. Everyone deserves that!
