Getting to Know New York as a Freelance Demographer

I have been in NYC for two years, and I’ve realized I can meander until my feet are blistered and sore, and still know relatively little about New Yorkers. I wanted to get to know some different neighborhoods using my own metric. The Dictionary.com app on my phone comes with a weird feature that I thought had a lot of potential: you can see a list of words people near you have looked up with the app recently.
