Everyone Wave Goodbye to George Will

Colleges and universities are being educated by Washington and are finding the experience excruciating. They are learning that when they say campus victimizations are ubiquitous (“micro-aggressions,” often not discernible to the untutored eye, are everywhere), and that when they make victimhood a coveted status that confers privileges, victims proliferate.

-Two lines later in this Washington Post op-ed, old-timey Pez dispenser George Will asks us to "consider the supposed campus epidemic of rape, a.k.a. 'sexual assault.'" Sexual assault in scare quotes!  Bye-bye to one of the most fatuous right-wing hacks of all time. [WP]

Good lord, how is someone that clueless still *breathing*--much less getting his drivel published?

I feel like the MEN WHO CANNOT TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PRIVILEGE AND CRIPPLING SHAME tag could apply to a dismaying number of articles--but hopefully using that tag to ridicule such individuals will result in less of a need for it overall. Thus, mixed feelings!

His hair helmet has served the purposes of both self-preservation and buffering of reasoned counter-arguments.

@and it's not even my birthday Ha! Perfect--that explains everything.

Ugh. I remember reading a Will column years ago about how much jeans confused him, or something. I can't believe he's still getting published. He's like the grandpa in the recliner in front of the TV who wakes up long enough to burble something racist before nodding off again.

OLD-TIMEY PEZ DISPENSER. That is a Spy-worthy epithet. Well-played, madam.
