Katy B, “Crying For No Reason”

Over the last few months, Katy B‘s been dropping singles in advance of her sophomore album Little Red (“5 AM,” “I Like You“), but I’m still attached to her 2011 sound on the Robyn-does-house “Broken Record” and the Lily Allen-meets-Aaliyah “Easy Please Me,” and I’ve been resistant. Until now! The power ballad “Crying For No Reason” floats up and down a pop staircase, and is Katy B’s most Robyn-adjacent track yet, with shades of Demi Lovato and Christina Aguilera in there as well.
