"I am not alone"

"I am going to recount one of the aspects of my past career that few know about or understand, but about which I am most proud. I am going to talk about the abuse of drugs in the sport of cycling and my experiences and then I am going to talk about changes in the sport and look ahead at one overlooked but absolutely vital aspect."
—Nicole Cooke's retirement speech is the mic drop of the year. Thanks, commenters!

She is awesome.

Thank you :)@t

I initially read this as "Nicole Cliffe's retirement speech" and was totally panicking while also being very confused about the cycling and doping references.

@HeyThatsMyBike I read it that way, too! But considering it was after the "Going Clear" article, I had no fears about it being real.

BOOM. That was fantastic.

What a badass. Also, shoutout to her dad for being awesomely supportive of her dreams!

Thank you for sharing this! I'm impressed and outraged and inspired!

An impressive share, I just given this onto a colleague who was doing a little analysis on this. And he in fact bought me breakfast because I found it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the treat! But yeah Thnkx for spending the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love reading more on this topic. If possible, as you become expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more details? It is highly helpful for me. Big thumb up for this blog post! madeira palsticaEV
