Okay Big Boi, We're Ready

Big Boi's second solo album, Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, is out TOMORROW and we just want to sleep from right now until that moment so it'll get here faster. (Thanks, Grandpa Bill, for the lesson in "The Best Things About Naps.") You've already heard the album's monstrous banger, "In The A," featuring T.I. and Luda, he's released another single with Kid Cudi (he of "Day 'N' Nite"), and today you can hear his collaboration with Jai Paul and Little Dragon on "Higher Res." Be most grateful for this latest track not because it's great — it's "meh" — but because it provides an excuse to reintroduce you to Jai Paul's perfectly lyric-ed, sultrily voiced, laser-gun and fart-noise laden debut single, "BTSTU." Contains some swears, but they're absolutely necessary.

Also, I was talking about being excited for this album at a party the other day and someone said "Who is Big Boi?" and it threw me for such a loop that for a second I thought I'd literally lost my mind and maybe I'd mixed up this rapper's name with the restaurant chain or something, but then I Googled him on my phone to be sure I wasn't having a stroke and everything was okay.

If it makes you feel any better, I once almost stabbed a dude in middle school with a compass because he insisted that not only was Masta Killa not in The Wu-Tang Clan, but I had just made up that name for a nonexistent rapper.

Perfect <3 GOOD!!!!@n

I'm bummed Yukimi didn't get cleared to do the vocals on the album cut of Mama Told Me, but I guess I'll get over it. (If she got clearance for this track whyyyyy not that one?) Also, cannot wait for this tomorrow.

While they were talking about an old Outkast album, I tried to impress the dude's (ack THE dude?! I DONT KNOW)(HOPEFULLY) friends this weekend by talking about how this album was coming out soon, and that Big Boi's last album was also utterly aces. They were either stunned into silence by my awesomeness, or nonplussed (or nonplussed by my awesomeness?).
In conclusion, BIG BOI FOREVER.

@candybeans aaaand, by putting it in print, i have realized that i want him to be THE dude, not just A dude. The 'Pin: Getting All My Shit Straightened Out since 2011.

All fanatics out there will surely grab their copy of their idol. Big Boi is truly a great role model for everyone.Keep it up! - James Stuckey
