My interest in basketball fashion will remain non-existent until they bring back the classic shorts. Bring back the short shorts!!
@KatnotCat When I was in 5th grade, we all had to do biographical oral reports about a famous black person for Black History Month. The stipulation was that you had to dress like that person (and my entire class, including myself, was white, for what it's worth). Well, in 5th grade I was obsessed with basketball, so I chose Wilt Chamberlain for my report. My dad lent me his old college basketball uniform from the late 60s to wear. To get the short-shorts to fit, my mom belted the waist like a paper bag. Needless to say, those short-shorts were still pretty long on my 70 lb frame. It made for a funny picture, though.
@olivebee That sounds legitimately adorable.
However, "cuteness" and "funny" isn't really why I enjoy athletic thighs in shorts and high socks...
Those socks are outlandish!
Outlandish, ppffft. I just bought my boyfriend socks with SQUIRRELS on them. Beat that, basketball! Oh, you did beat that? With Superman socks that have stupid little capes attached to them? Oh.
Are you co-owners? Because having sox together can be really fun.
Also sweeping the nation? Baby fish mouth.
