Stream Florence + the Machine's New Album, Ceremonials
The music blog Pretty Much Amazing has the hugely talented and deceptively frail-looking Florence Welch's sophomore album a week ahead of its November 1 release, and it is fantastic. Listen over there, or in the player below.
(Previously: The "Shake It Out" and "What the Water Gave Me" videos from the same album.)

Yes!!! Thank you so much for posting this, I was just looking for a stream yesterday but couldn't find one. I've heard this album is epic.
Ahhhh yay! I will sit at my desk and do the spindly-wrist Florence dance.
@figwiggin If only I had worn my Steve Nick-esque flowing cape today I would totally join you.
I just listened to Billy Joel's "Lullabye" 6 times in a row and was about to go for an uneven 7. But I think Florence can take precedence.
@Dancersize Now that you've admitted to listening to Billy Joel it's too late to stop. Put on "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant" until the saxophone lick makes you scream.
Does anyone else feel like Florence Welch has some secret connection to the Brontës? Sisters from another mother? Just me? I can live with that.
@MmeLibrarian I can definitely see a Wuthering Heights-esque video in her future. Maybe it's because Flo sounds sort of like Kate Bush?
To quote the Robyn-loving Erato ladies, high five!
@thisisunclear I basically stopped listening to that in order to listen to this. Yay Flo!
Flo does me SO GOOD EVERY TIME!
I'm late to the Florence Adoration Party (just discovered the band THIS WEEK), but oh boy…I am soooooo happy to be here!
@tortietabbie Welcome. We have cookies.
@tortietabbie Yeah, I loved the song "Dog Days" but kind of banked on her being a one hit wonder, until I saw her perform on SNL. Holy shit that woman can sing.
@momentisaflower Same here. I never really got the insanity over her (even though she has a tremendous voice). Until now that is. This is fantastic! Just, wow.
I love Florence and the Machine, but has anyone noticed that any time her songs are used for sex scenes, it is TERRIBLE??
I am having a horrible day at work today…I think I might just survive (and thrive?) now. Thanks, Flo!
I have officially been listening to this for six hours. Thanks H-pin!
at first glance I totally read the title on the album cover as Jane + The Marie. we carry you girls in our hearts, it's weird
I'd been listening to "What the Water Gave Me" for several weeks, anticipating the new album. I stumbled upon this stream in linking from another article…Ah, the beauty of the web. Awesome album-looking forward to purchasing next week. I'm soooo in need of some fresh tunes, so this is very timely!
Okay, watch this and tell me it's not kind of racist.
