You guys! I tried *so hard* to do the Courtney Stodden sexyface, but I just don't have enough plastic surgery. :(

annepersand (#4,644)

@thornbek YOU ARE MY HEROINE FOR ALL TIME.

laurel (#111)

@thornbek Is that the dessert in the upper right corner? I love how you made it all puny and small in its little tin section.

thornbek (#254)

@laurel It is indeed a "sad little Hungry Man brownie"!

atipofthehat (#184)

@thornbek

Now I want some.

wizardlizard (#10,949)

@thornbek Kaaaaaaaaate it's Liz and I wish I'd seen you IRL but this is AMAZING even just online. GAH. Ilu.

MsChilePepper (#3,944)

@thornbek Now THAT is some fine costume crafting! Please tell us more about your process. It looks incredible!

Tuna Surprise (#255)

This is awesome! It would be better if you were surrounded by women laughing alone with their salads who stop laughing when they see your buttery, delicious carbs.

Maria (#1,998)

Well done!

City_Dater (#293)

This is just beautiful. The fluffy mashed potatoes! The corn!
Words fail me…

deepomega (#134)

I have the strangest appetite right now…

Also I saw a Ceiling Fan at a party this weekend and correctly deduced that the wearer was a Hairpin reader.

frigwiggin (#8,358)

That is 400% amazing. Anybody got a toddler who would put up with being Kids' Cuisine?

@figwiggin Oh my God, I LOVED Kids' Cuisine as a kid. I don't know why. My parents used to get it as a bribe when I had a babysitter, so I would be good, and I was always SO FUCKING GOOD because for some reason I loved that shit. All I can remember now is the faintly metallic taste of the cinnamon apples.

beanie (#3,372)

@figwiggin I just recall the little soggy chicken nuggets..mmm.

frigwiggin (#8,358)

@The Lady of Shalott It's strange, isn't it? I remember being rabid for them when I was a kid and I hardly ever got them, so they were like treasure. Treasure with an individual brownie.

@figwiggin The brownie was obvs the best part.

DandelionTacy (#7,341)

@The Lady of Shalott I loved them too, far too much- as kids, we were allowed to choose anything we wanted to eat at Meijer for New Year's Eve, and for at least 3 years, my choice was a Kid's Cuisine.

I am so impressed. Truly, a work of art for our times.

atipofthehat (#184)

A Lady at my office was a perfect Mac and Cheese.

Lady, you just made my day.

ArgosMama (#11,494)

This made my lunch time much more fun! Thank you!

Limaceous (#1,815)

This is the best ever.

That butter pat is awesome. Also, why did the mashed potatoes taste just like cotton? Too real.
