@boyofdestiny bukowskis was too small. charley's is fairly cheap but doesn't have the stink of the pour house nor the dude bros of mcfaddens.

Oh wow, thanks everyone. Ok I'm going to be brave. I have no idea where Charley's, or in fact anywhere, is, but I'll find it. Will be good to meet you all. I figure if I just drink through the nerves I'll end up witty and charming and everyone will love me. Because that always works.

@fiiierce Oh, it's sadly not that exciting! The announcer told my husband's train that it was being "taken out of service," but failed to mention that it was because there was fire shooting out of the back of the train. You know, the usual stellar MBTA service.
