The Inflatable Swimming Pool Fountain
Instead of catching up on the news this morning, I came across this inflatable swimming pool fountain, and spent the next two hours figuring out how to make it. Priorities. I found nothing, though, but subsequently fell down the rabbit hole of how to make champagne fountains (a.k.a. champagne pyramids — make sure the rims aren't touching), how to make champagne (difficulty: challenging), and how to make a traditional champagne toast after landing a hot-air balloon (easy).
WAIT! Here's how to make that swimming pool fountain! Haha. First things first.

I was gonna make fun of the weirdness of the dubbed voice, but then actually that toast is nice!
Glad to know I wasn't the only one who sketched out my own "how to make a kiddie pool fountain" plans on the back of a napkin as soon as I saw that.
I think you could do it with two round plastic tables. It may take some searching to find ones in the same dimensions as the kiddie pools that need to sit on top of them but it would certainly be worth it. You can get the fountain parts at a garden center/home depot.
@Tuna Surprise YES! Yes, tables.
ok but what about a champagne fountain IN a kiddie pool???

On the ehow site, I love this: "Tips and Warnings: Floating fountain units are available with multicolored lights that change the color of the water."
Is that a tip or a warning?
Well, I now know what I'm doing this weekend.
