The Tiniest Muppet Show

Major Muppets enthusiast Lance Cardinal has done something amazing: he's made an obsessively detailed reproduction of the stage from the Muppet Show with his own two hands. It is one of the coolest and most beautiful things you can imagine — like so perfect and small that looking at the photos of it makes you want to cry. The trap door! The ropes! The mop bucket!

I – okay, I'm having a rough day – but I straight-up started crying at the Jim Henson, Kermit and Fozzie one.

this makes me extremely happy, and just a wee bit disturbed.

That sounds about right.

When I saw this I thought it was amazing. And when I read the comments I got a little weepy.

Wow, this guy is phenomenal. It's kind of amazing to think that this is probably the most perfect and complete Muppet Show stage ever, since the real one was, you know, full of trenches and holes.

Look around at his other models too. He did a great rendition of the house from Evil Dead.

amazing and beautiful and bordering on worrisome?

This is like the best, most amazing doll house ever. I love doll-house tiny things, but even as a child wasn't into playing with a "family." This is all the awesome detailed tininess of dollhouse, but instead you get to play MUPPET SHOW!
