How to Pick Up and Hold a Makeup Brush

If you've ever sat down with a makeup brush in front of you, thinking, "What am I supposed to do with this tiny broom," Madison is a beauty instructor who can relate without condescension.

I REALLY LOVE this girl!

Yeah, but I'm not sure how she feels about those brushes?

i have feelings about this video. FEELINGS.

Sachar Mathias

omg TORIAL!!!!

You got to fry it!

This is what kills me. I can kind of hold it together up to this point, but her adorable speech impediment coupled with her earnest QVC pitch-face makes me die of laughter. Thank you, Hairpin.

Toby Jug

I don't know if this is adorable or terrifying.

Despite her expert stance, at 2:44 Madison is able to concede that she doesn't quite know how her ring is made, thus adding to its allure--her sprezzatura is remarkable.

I used to do the exact same thing as a kid except I was just talking to myself in the bathroom mirror. I called it playing infomercial. Too bad there was no youtube in 1995.

It kills me when she gets out the lotion. Does her mom sell makeup? Does she watch a lot of QVC? So many questions…

Also there is another video where she discusses Coastal Scents.

You guys! My face is wet from my tears of joy. This video sent me into uncontrollable fits of laughter. I was all prepared to be kind of outraged and saddened, but instead I am immensely happy.

I have seen a lot of makeup tutorials in my time (I'm helpless) and this girl is a PRO. She hits all the makeup tutorial bases: 1. tells you about the brushes, 2. makes sure to mention the specific brands, 3. holds stuff up for you to see, 4. BYEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(I wonder if she's seen a -gasp- makeup tutorial tutorial?!)

Ohh, QVC. I've never watched that, so watching this just now I thought she was doing a dead-on impression of a youtube haul video. Which somehow made it more scary?

Spookily close to how I actually put on makeup. Wosh, wosh done!

You guys have to fry, er, watch her other videos. Let's just say they involve learning to wash your face, a white fluffy puppy and the word "fraffic". She makes my whole week.

I am freaking in LOVE with the screencap used to illustrate this article. Her face is just totally enraptured with DOUBLE EYE BRUSH ACTION. I want it to remain on the top of the Hairpin forever.

one cow.

the cough!!! followed by, "um...I don't know how her made these..." ahhhhh!

Juliana Golden Stadelmeier

i can't afford any of the makeup she has!
