Happy National Puppy Day!
Today is National Puppy Day, a special time when we come together to "celebrate the magic and unconditional love that puppies bring to our lives." And why wouldn't we? Puppies are so cuddly and fuzzy, and they jump all over you, and do adorable things like fall asleep in their water bowls. They are insanely cute — each and every one of them! Wait, am I actually trying to convince you that puppies are worth celebrating? Why don't you go and find out for yourself: Start with this video of two adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, and then go down the YouTube rabbit hole. Agreed! I must admit I have a Cavalier so I'm biased when it comes to spaniels!!
i once did that "if you were a dog, what dog would you be?" test and I got Cavalier. (Obviously, my spirit animal is a Corgi puppy, but Cavs are nice too!)
This is over a year old, but whatever, it features my brother's corgi puppy (some of you may have seen it already, sorry).
Ack, so cute! My 9-month-old corgi would have a blast playing with Shepherd.
Shep would love that. Right now he has three cats to chase, but I think he'd rather have a dog that would play back, not simply a never-ending, one-way game of chase. (I forgot you had a corgi!)
It's also my half birthday. No coincidence, that.
