Why has no one commented on this? I find it very amusing – that Scholastic Internet book kid is SURFING RIGHT AT ME! On a keyboard. It's interesting to see how some went the actual surfboard route, while others got even more computery and surfed on mice and keyboards.
I like the "Surfing on the Internet" one with the windsurfer and all the clip art computers. It's just, like, _so_ WTF.
This is funny (as is the fact that my dad said something like "On the Information Superhighway I'm driving a Yugo" just last week), but I *do* non-ironically refer to it as "surfing"; maybe we need a better verb?
