Bieber Fever Cured!

"I really don't believe in abortion. It's like killing a baby?" [How about in cases of rape?] "Um. Well, I think that's really sad, but everything happens for a reason." —Biebs.

The fetus feels an obligation to look out for his own

WTF to his response here, but much more importantly, WTF x109273086097 to the Rolling Stone reporter who asked him his thoughts on the matter.

I mean, seriously? Why ask? Just whyyyy??

He doesn't know what he's talking about. Ask him about hair gel! He probably has lots of thoughts on that!

I totally agree with you. The kid's like 16, isn't he? How solid is anyone's moral and/or political compass at that age? Ask him about his favorite brand of hoodies or something. Or why he loves sneakers. The poor thing's voice hasn't even changed yet.

Tom Blunt (#2,480)

I disagree, these are things that people his age have to deal with and think about quite often. Why shouldn't he comment?

Also, I don't think you can blame Rolling Stone. Bieber could have just declined to answer the question, and I guarantee he was not left alone unsupervised with the interviewer.

See: MTV's 16 and Pregnant, Teen Mom, and Bristol Palin.

I love how ending your statement with a question mark= solid opinion. Maybe he's been singing about literal babies this whole time and he's afraid that if all the babies are gone he will have nothing to sing about?

To be fair, he did follow that with, "I guess I haven't been in that position, so I wouldn't be able to judge that."

MAYBE YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE SAID ANYTHING THEN.

BREAKING: Teenager says poorly-thought-out thing.

SOUND THE ALARUM BELLS.

This child's views are weighty and important.

Yeah, someone's publicist is getting fired today. Who allowed Rolling Stone, a music magazine, to ask a 16-year-old about abortion? What was the question they didn't get to, "Waterboarding: Yay or nay?"

Dayswith Bunnies (#3,184)

My favourite part about this article is how he has no idea A; what political system is in place in North Korea, and B; that there is a North and South Korea. I feel like this automatically invalidates any other opinions Justin Bieber may have.

Yesterday a girl, about 8 or 9, asked me if I'd heard of Bieber fever. When I replied I had, she said, "Well, my friend has platypus fever!" So it seems the bright ones have already moved on.

Haha! Yay for smart, sassy little girls. The world needs more of them.

Baby, baby, baby…

With the popularity of 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom and Bristol Palin (the list goes on) – I think it makes perfect sense to ask the MOST FAMOUS TEENAGER what his thoughts are regarding the single MOST DISCUSSED TEEN ISSUE of the day.

My question is – how did the publicist not throw herself on top of the tape recorder to prevent him from answering this question?? I mean, how is that even possible that he was allowed to get out a full sentance?

BigSteve (#418)

We'll see how he feels about it when he gets some girl pregnant. Or we won't, I guess, because no one will ever hear about it.

first of all, bieber makes me want to self harm. i'm already pissed because they ruined a whole episode of glee on/making fun of him.

second, he's plenty old enough to be able to answer this question. "rape totally sucks" is too much to expect? (the korea question was just weird.)

clearly bieber is maybe his own biggest fan – nothing else seems to be of much interest to him.
