Josh Groban Beautifully Renders Kanye West's Tweets

Mmm, yes. Beautiful Starbucks-ready covers of, "Do you know where to find marble conference tables? I'm looking to have a conference…not until I get the table though," "Fur pillows are hard to actually sleep on," "Classical music is tight yo," and many more. [Via]

I don't liiiiiiike it when twee white people take something from hip hop or rap artists/music and set it to classical or elevator-y music (see also that youtube band Pomplamoose, I think Ben Folds used to do it all the time too?) It makes me feel uncomfortable. IS THIS WEIRD/HUMORLESS OF ME?

It's a joke? There is not actually going to be a 48-CD compilation of these.

(1 DAY LATER, in supertitles)

Right, but it's not funny? Like, I think that Kanye's original tweeting of these things was much funnier. The whole thing seems like, "Oh, tee hee! Kanye doesn't get that these things he put on the Internet were ridiculous! He doesn't know we're laughing at them!" Which is patently ridiculous, as he is by all accounts a weird dude, but not a dumb one. So it's more like Groban and everyone else on the Internet pointing to a thing that's already a joke and being like IT'S A JOKE! No shit.

I never liked him, but then he went on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, and I was all "hiiiii, Josh Groban!!!" Oh, and then he hosted.

YES. SECONDED.

THIRDED.
It was when he said to Simon Amstell "I could sing to you and make you cry…?"

That was a very good move!

Yeah, he raised me up. (too easy)

I thought this was Ira Glass for a second. Then I thought it was his younger, scruffier brother.
