All the World's Vogue Magazines in One Place

Someone at ONTD created palimpsestic pieces of art out of the world's Vogue magazines by layering each country's 2010 issues on top of one another, then, for the pièce de resistance, layering every 2010 Vogue in the world on top of one another. The latter looks like a medieval person's very faded idea of the Virgin Mary; the individual countries' issues are more developed. Vogue Paris (left) is, perhaps not surprisingly, kind of beautiful, a bit like a Delacroix painting, whereas ours looks like a cheerful person with an eraser applied to their face. [Via]

These are gorgeous and a lot more interesting than most of the regular Vogue covers. The VP cover(s) actually looks quite a bit like the Mona Lisa…

That's exactly what I was going to say, the Mona Lisa!

Maybe it contains clues for the DaVinci code?

Hellas kind of looks like Bill Shakespeare.
